“It takes a minute to find a special person, an hour to appreciate them, a day to love them, but an entire life to forget them.”

“Two friends were walking through the desert. During some point of the journey, they had an argument and one friend slapped the other one in the face

The one who got slapped was hurt, but without saying anything, wrote in the sand:

‘Today my best friend slapped me in the face.’

They kept on walking until they found an oasis where they decided to take a bath.

The one who had been slapped got stuck in the mire and started drowning, but the friend saved him. After he recovered from the near drowning, he wrote on a stone:

‘Today my best friend saved my life.’

The friend who had slapped and saved his best friend
asked him, ‘After I hurt you, you wrote in the sand and now, you write on a stone. Why?’

The friend replied, ‘When someone hurts us we should write it down in sand, where winds of forgiveness can erase it away ~ but, when someone does something good for us, we must engrave it in stone where no wind can ever erase it.’ ”

Perhaps we all should learn to write our hurts in sand and to carve our blessings in stone.

“Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.”

Author unknown but thank you to my daughter, Gabi, for sharing this wonderful thought

Noah’s Ark

“Everything I need to know, I learned from Noah’s Ark”.

ONE: Don’t miss the boat.

TWO: Remember that we are all in the same boat!

THREE: Plan ahead. It wasn’t raining when Noah built the Ark.

FOUR: Stay fit. When you’re 60 years old, someone may ask you to do something really big.

FIVE: Don’t listen to critics; just get on with the job that needs to be done.
SIX: Build your future on high ground.

SEVEN: For safety’s sake, travel in pairs.

EIGHT: Speed isn’t always an advantage. The snails were on board with the cheetahs.

NINE: When you’re stressed, float awhile.

TEN: Remember, the Ark was built by amateurs who were committed and willing to learn; the Titanic by professionals who thought they already knew how.”

“In life we basically have three choices.
Give up – Give in – or Give it all you’ve got!”
Martha Borst

“Life is beauty; admire it.

Life is bliss; taste it.

Life is a dream; realize it.

Life is a challenge; meet it.

Life is a duty; complete it.

Life is a game; play it.

Life is a promise; fulfill it.

Life is sorrow; overcome it.

Life is a song; sing it.

Life is a struggle; accept it.

Life is a tragedy; confront it.

Life is an adventure; dare it.

Life is luck; make it.

Life is too precious; do not destroy it.

Life is life; fight for it.”
